Picking up and returning
Driving to the airport
Two roads serve the airport: the A113 motorway, which has an exit of its own for Terminals 1 and 2, and the B96a. Towards the city the A113 joins the A100 into central Berlin, and via the A10 ring it links to the A13 heading south for Dresden. Drop-offs and pick-ups use a short-stay area directly in front of Terminal 1.
Public transport into town
Besides regional trains, the station beneath Terminal 1 is served by S-Bahn lines S9 and S85, and the FEX also calls at Südkreuz and Potsdamer Platz. Express buses X71 and X11 head for Alt Mariendorf on the U6 and for Lichterfelde-West and Dahlem, while BER1 and BER2 run to Rathaus Steglitz and Potsdam main station.
