Arriving by road
Along the coast the A-7 (E-15) and the parallel N-340 lead west across the Costa del Sol Occidental to Cádiz and eastwards along the Costa del Sol Oriental towards Almeria. Inland, the A-45 heads north to Antequera and Córdoba.
From the airport without a car
From the airport, the express bus Line A stops at Alameda Principal, a hub for most city buses, and at Paseo del Parque. Cercanías line C-1 trains also leave the airport, calling at María Zambrano station beside the main bus station before ending at Centro-Alameda, the stop nearest the city centre.
