Submit Applications
Confirm the booking for your desired car, along with at least 5 others.
Don’t worry, you will only be charged for the first vehicle you are approved for. Applying to multiple vehicles increases your chances of getting on the road exactly when you want to.
Once you confirm the booking for your first vehicle, we will run a quick background check (for new drivers only), which normally takes just a few hours.
After your application is approved by the car owner, you will receive the three documents required to upload to your Uber and/or Lyft driver accounts. The three documents include: vehicle registration, 19-point inspection, and your rideshare insurance.
Keep in mind that this will be an upfront payment, so you will be required to pay the full amount due before getting on the road.
If you decide to pay with a credit card, you will not be charged the $200 deposit, but we will simply keep the card on file for any issues that may arise.
After approving the application, it is important to verify the accuracy of all documents for your vehicle.
Insurance is generated 24 hours before pick up, unless an early pick up request is submitted.
You will also want to make sure that your registration and vehicle inspection documents are up-to-date before you hand over the keys to the driver.
To promote safety for all parties, do not hand over the vehicle unless you see the correct insurance document on your dashboard.

Meet The Owner
Contact the vehicle owner to negotiate a time and location for pick up. The owner may even offer delivery, so make sure to ask!
Make sure you upload your vehicle documents to your Uber/Lyft accounts as soon as you get them, so that you can start making money immediately after pick up.
Hand Off The Keys
Coordinate where and when you will be meeting the driver to hand over the keys.
Verify their license, walk around the car, and check the fuel and mileage.
Time To Earn Some Cash
Congrats! You’re now driving towards financial freedom. Turn on your ridesharing apps and start earning.

Get Paid
HyreCar's secure payment system means you always get paid on time. Upon approving the application, drivers will be charged. So once they pick up the vehicle, your money will be on its way.

Create a free listing with just a few minutes.
Describe your car and upload some clean photos, vehicle registration, and Uber/Lyft inspection documents.
Respond To Driver Requests
You will be notified when someone requests to rent your vehicle. Be sure to confirm the application as soon as possible, as the applications expire after 24 hours.
Drivers tend to book multiple vehicles to increase their chances of getting on the road faster, so the first owner to approve the booking request will see the earnings.
DROP OFF
Return The Car
At the end of your rental, replace the gas you used and meet the owner to drop off the car.
Walk around the car again to make sure you are clear of any damages, and hand over the keys.

Pick Up Your Car
PICK UP
When the rental is over and the driver does not want to extend their rental, coordinate a pick-up time and location.
Make sure everything is in order, and don’t forget to rate the driver to help keep our marketplace trusted and reliable.
