5. Building the Relationship

Staying in Communication with the Driver

6. End of Rental
When the driver drops off your vehicle, you must click “Confirm Drop Off” to formally end the rental.
At that point, examine your vehicle to make sure there wasn’t any damage done to it.
How to Handle Issues
If you do notice something is wrong, don’t be timid about bringing it up with HyreCar.
For example, say the driver is late returning your vehicle. You can submit a complaint to support. Even if the driver readily acknowledges an issue, it’s still important that you report it to HyreCar.

How to Submit a Ticket

Electing for Arbitration Through Fair Claims
While it’s unlikely you’ll ever find yourself in this situation, some problems may require arbitration to resolve their problems.
For example, if the driver goes over their allotted mileage and the two of you cannot resolve it on your own, under HyreCar’s Terms of Service, the company requires that you use a third-party arbitrator known as Fair Claims to handle things.
If your dispute is with HyreCar, the company offers the option to use Fair Claims for any damages less than $25,000 instead of going through the courts.
